Midnight Sun

Charlie is curled up in the corner on his bed, ready to sleep off his long and exhausting day of play. He wonders if humans ever sleep at a reasonable hour.  Not in this family, not in this house hold, he realises.  It's 12.30am and most rooms are lit up like daylight.

As he curls up into a ball, Charlie covers his eyes with his paw and begins to fall sound asleep, snoring loudly and occasionally barking in his dreams.
